Khadija completed her BSc with honors from the London School of Economics and she returned to her hometown & started setting a vision for developing the small atelier, which is now named as ÉLAN. Creative Director of ÉLAN, Khadijah has successfully been able to manage a powerful brand which has now built a distinguishing mark for the other fashion designers. No doubt she is respected for her combination of intricate embellishments, attention to detail & flattering silhouettes. Each collection of ÉLAN is conceived with elegance, versatility and glamour in mind.
In 2012, she launched her debut unstitched printed lawn collection (Seasonal), which is considered the most anticipated lawn collection in each season in Pakistan.

Khadija Shah is a versatile fashion designer best known for fashion brand ÉLAN. Now Khadijah Shah is the only force behind the brand ÉLAN.
ÉLAN is one of Pakistan’s leading Fashion Couture Houses. Khadijah Shah developed her passion for fashion designing from her mother Aneela at an early age. Aneela, who had a small atelier & devoted clientele for years before ÉLAN was properly launched.

In 2014, Khadijah Shah was appointed as the Creative Director of Sapphire Brand, which established the brand on the fashion map. Khadijah was the perfect combination for Sapphire that resonated well with a generation looking for more trendy & classy designs at affordable prices.
It was a perfect match made in the fashion industry, with Khadijah’s aesthetic vision combined with a textile giant of Sapphire which is known for its quality. Unfortunately in 2017, Khadijah separated from Sapphire. Both Khadijah and Sapphire have refused to comment at this point that’s why the reasons behind this separation are still hidden.
In a short period, Khadijah has expanded her label ÉLAN and created an impressive & dominant place for Élan in the Pakistani Fashion industry.
