Currently Pakistani is facing one of the biggest challenges of the world which is deadly COVID-19. Lux Style Awards 2020 stands with the Pakistani nation in this hard time. Lux Style Awards has decided not to go ahead with the glorious Lux Style Awards 2020. Lux Style Awards 2020 will instead redirect their funds with “Akhuwat Foundation” in order to support the impacted members of Pakistani Entertainment and Fashion industry. This was the first time in the 19 years history of LSA that the entire awarding process was conducted virtually.
They are not celebrating Lux Style Awards 2020 with all its glory but they are trying hard to appreciate the best of Pakistani showbiz and the fashion industry.
The Beauty and Personal Care Director of Unilever Pakistan Asima Haq said that, “ LSA’s were perceived 19 years ago, to recognize, reward and promote Pakistani Entertainment and the Fashion Industry. Over the years, dozens of people have supported and worked on making LSA the most awaited award ceremony of Pakistan. Today, in these hard times, Lux Style Awards 2020 wants to support the members of Pakistani Entertainment and Fashion Industry, whose lives and jobs have been badly affected by the COVID-19.
The Chairman and CEO of Unilever Pakistan Amir Paracha also added that, the LSA’s always stood as one of the esteemed platforms to recognize and appreciate the best in Pakistan’s Entertainment and Fashion Industry. We recognize the impact of this delay and urge everyone to stay together in spirit and strength.
So the Lux Style Awards 2020 Ceremony is held virtually for rewarding members of the Entertainment and Fashion Industry for their hard work throughout the year 2020. So the 19th Lux Style Awards 2020 announced their winners on 17 December in Karachi.
