Pakistani Drama Dastaan Story and Review
DRAMA SERIAL DASTAAN is based on novel by Razia Butt titled Bano. The story of Dastaan’s story is based on the Indo-Pak partition and how the lives of people involved were changed and affected. The story revolved around the journey of the central character Bano (Sanam Baloch).
She lived a normal life before the idea of going to Pakistan and becoming a part of the newly formed Islamic state. This made her go through the worst experiences of her life. Bano even almost gets raped in the drama. Bano’s journey was filled with a lot of ups and downs. The experience was conveyed in a such a manner that viewers felt for Bano and every single character every step of the way.
This is one of those serials that are very difficult to watch yet you do not move your bottom from your couch. The stabbing of a husband, killing of a pregnant woman with knife, women throwing themselves off the roof to Hindus dragging Muslim women for rape. This serial has the worst of what had happened to the Muslims in India during the time of partition.
